Burn Permits
When: All year, Monday through Friday, 7AM - 5PM
Place: LaGrange Station 2
Permits are required to burn leaves and grass within the town limits and are available at LaGrange Station 2 at NO COST. When burning, please adhere to the guidelines that you receive when you obtain the permit, to reduce the risk of injury or losing control of the fire.

Cellular Emergency Calls
With the ownership and use of cellular telephones growing exponentially, the probability that you will encounter an emergency while you're on the road requiring a "911" call will also increase. However, when a cellular telephone call is made to "911" within Dutchess county, it is currently sent to the state police, who, in turn, must re-route the call to the Dutchess County "911" Call Center, increasing the potential for a delay in your emergency call.

If you travel the roads of the Town of LaGrange, or Dutchess County, with any degree of frequency, you should make note of and program the following number, 845-471-1414, into your cellular telephone. While "911" is always an option, this number is a way of reducing the risk of a delay in your emergency call.
