LaGrange Emergency Medical Services (EMS) operates as a part of the LaGrange Fire District and, as such, comes under the operational command of the Chief of the Department and the EMS Administrator. Budgetary matters are managed by the Board of Fire Commissioners. EMS personnel are available to provide both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) services with two ALS-capable ambulances and an ALS fly car, 24-hours a day, seven days a week. A third ambulance is maintained and available for service as needed.
