It is a fact, whether it's a bicycle, a tricycle, a unicycle, a scooter, roller blades or roller skates, when you're riding your wheels, the proper wearing of an appropriate helmet reduces the risk of head injuries in an accident. It doesn't matter if you're riding or rolling in a backyard, in a driveway or in the street, keep it safe and wear a properly fitting helmet that's appropriate for your riding and rolling activities.

As a public service, the LaGrange Fire District sells several types of bicycle helmets. Since we sell them at our cost, this translates into a savings for you. Just come by Station 2 Monday through Sunday, 7AM - 5PM, and ask about our bicycle helmets.

NOTE: To ensure a proper fit, the wearer must be present at the time of purchase and there is a limit of one helmet per person, so don't forget to bring the family.
